Stewardship: Showing Off God's Goodness through Our Faithfulness
Beginning January 6th in the Conference Room
“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Begin 2019 by considering how God’s Word trains us to be faithful stewards of all that the Lord has entrusted to us: our time, our treasure, our talents, our rest, our health, and our relationships.
Saved to the Uttermost
Beginning January 6th in the Multi-Purpose Room
“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:25)
Salvation includes avoiding eternal punishment and receiving eternal life – but it is much more than that. God’s plan of salvation is to rescue us from a state of sinful rebellion, to make us His children, and to transform us into something wonderful. “Saved to the Uttermost” is a course on the fullness of salvation. It examines how we are saved, what we are saved from, and what we are saved to. It examines a number of very common and very dangerous falsehoods about the Gospel message. It examines topics such as sin, righteousness, judgment, grace, atonement, salvation, faith, works, repentance, lordship, obedience, our sinful nature, spiritual warfare, assurance, doubt, false gospels, and more
