We know that the Bible is God's primary means for teaching us who he is and and how we are saved. But is there anything we can also learn from other Christians who lived before us?

At Franconia Baptist, we believe the answer is yes. That's why we have just launched a new series on church history during our Discipleship Class hour. The series, entitled 'Remembering the Faithful', is an 8-week study of the lives, ministry, and influence of some key Christian leaders in ages past. A special emphasis is given to fundamental principles undergirding the Prostestant Reformation, which continues to serve as the foundation of radically God-centered, gospel-rooted worship and ministry for true Christians all over the world. 'Remembering the Faithful' is a class designed not simply to provide historical background about faithful leaders of the past, but also to stimulate discussion about their lasting legacy to help the church today to glorify God and enjoy him forever.

We hope you'll join us on Sundays at 9:30am for Discipleship Class. Then, stay for our worship service at 10:45am.
