Nick Roark serves as the lead pastor of Franconia Baptist Church. Nick was born in Falls Church, VA, but grew up in Chattanooga, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee. After college, Nick relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina where he worked for IBM Global Services for six years. During this time, he began attending and serving at Providence Baptist Church, where he would eventually join the staff in 2006 and serve as the Pastor of College and Equipping.
Nick holds a MDiv degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2012, he moved to Washington D.C. to serve on staff with Capitol Hill Baptist Church. After serving three years at CHBC, Nick was called to be the pastor of Franconia Baptist Church.
He is joyfully married to Allison and they have three children, Elijah, Hudson, and Emmaline.
Tracy serves as Office Administrator at Franconia. She is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She came to love and follow Jesus at an early age, after hearing her pastor preach verse-by-verse through the Gospels.
She has been married to Tommy, a chaplain in the US Army, for over 33 years. Tracy and Tommy are now empty-nesters after raising 3 beautiful daughters, Jessica, Katie, and Emily. Tracy’s favorite job is being “Mammie” to her 10 grandchildren (3 more due in early 2018).
Tracy graduated from Troy University in Alabama with a Business Administration degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She enjoys music, reading, gardening, sewing, dachshunds, cooking, hosting friends, and traveling with Tommy.
